Located in Hackney Wick; a thriving creative hub in East London, our ‘Trego Road’ scheme comprises of 52 residential units with public, and, green spaces on the ground level, and commercial space of 20,000sqft. The project aims to materialise the concept of ‘shared space’ where residential, creative, and public spaces meet.

Arranged around a collection of tiered yards, parks, and gardens, the scheme intends to provide shared cross-over spaces for groups to meet and shape, light-heartedly blurring the boundaries of planning using divisions. This project successfully mirrors the organic nature of our ‘Hackney Wick’ project.

The scheme’s original formal and organised framework faces elevations that are juxtaposed against a more metallic materiality that lines, and, defines the yard spaces; evoking the historic language of the area’s more industrial structures.
